OVERVIEW
The Yes is a fashion mobile app that is reinventing the way you shop, it is designed for you and only you. Based on a "Yes" or "No" A.I. recommendation system, the app will show you daily fashion inspirations to explore. The more you say "Yes" or "No" to items, the more personalized your shopping experience becomes. Our goal in this project was to further explore the relationship that women have with shopping and the fashion brands that exist today.
2. RESEARCH
3. THE PROBLEM
Most women enjoy shopping but have felt disconnected from fashion brands due to the affordability, improper sizing, versatility in styles, as well as personal beliefs, and identity.
How might we help THE YES users feel more connected to the app by giving them a way to feel more connected to the featured brands, and giving them more price, size, and personal preference options?
4. SOLUTION RESEARCH
We first conducted a competitive analysis to identify key strengths and solutions from competitors that could be successful if applied to The Yes.
We then conducted a mobile task analysis to ensure that our users could reach their goal in The Yes as quickly and intuitively as possible.

5. SOLUTIONS
We then dove into ideating and wireframing design solutions. Here were our research-informed solutions. (Pay in 4 Feature interface omitted, as it was my partner’s work)
“Fabrics” Feature
This addition to the app's experience is a page in the onboarding process that allows users to choose which fabrics they do not enjoy wearing. This helps the product suggestions become more personalized.
“Give a Reason” Feature
The app already asks the user to give a reason why they dislike an item. This feature allows users to give reasons why they both like and dislike an item, so the AI is more informed about what products to recommend.
“Guided” Feature
This feature helps users better navigate the onboarding process and understand how each feature on the interface functions.
6. NEXT STEPS
Brands You Follow Feature: This feature would be a partnership with Instagram, where the brands a user follows on Instagram can be integrated into The Yes. This would give users a wider array of brand options so they could more deeply identify with their experience on The Yes.
